Depressing to say, I can’t see how the world’s rivers can ever recover. It’s not just demand, rivers have been completely repurposed and reshaped.

Water has always been taken for granted.

I remember visiting the Colorado 20 years ago and it looked totally different to how it does today. Sad and scary.

We’ll soon all be wearing hydration suits like in Dune, recycling our own body sweat.
